This beauty was shot in my garden the other day
I’m a closet artist. A practical person with a hankering to create something. Anything. It started out with photography until I convinced myself that I’m not good at it. Turns out I am. I’ve taken up painting of figurines and was very satisfied with what I’ve managed to do. Pottery turned into a lifeline at one point and still gives me an urge to create. Logistics being the only inhibiting factor.
But writing has become my Mona Lisa. It was the way I coped with the death of my son. It was the way that I connected to other people when I started to blog. It is the way I earn money from time to time. It’s become a new life for me. Something that I can work at that fits in with my urge to create and in the time I have available to me.
Dear stand-in
You’ve got no idea how much I appreciate the day off. Here’s a few tips on doing this without giving anyone a hint of doubt.
Well, I’m not going to keep you any longer, time to take that day off. See ya!
